SEX: JEWISH POSITIONS

An inter-disciplinary exhibition exploring the many, sometimes contradictory, often surprising, meanings of sex and sexuality in Judaism. Bringing contemporary art, film, photography and social media into conversation with ritual objects, illuminated manuscripts and rabbinic texts, it takes visitors on a diverse and dynamic journey through centuries of Jewish attitudes - and positions! - on sex.

 

Sex: Jewish Positions is a collaboration between Jewish Museum Berlin and Jewish Museum Amsterdam.

From 2022 - 2024, I worked as a freelance curator with museum curators in Berlin and Amsterdam developing the exhibition from concept through to production. 

The exhibition was on show at Jewish Museum Berlin in 2024.
