Manchester Central Library

George House Trust has appointed me as freelance curator for this new exhibition which will tell the story of four decades of HIV activism in Greater Manchester.

The exhibition will bring together items from the George House Trust archives and Manchester's city archives with film footage and new oral history interviews to celebrate the region's proud history of HIV activism.

George House Trust is a charity that provides advice, information and support to people living with HIV. It was originally founded as Manchester AIDSLine in 1985 by six gay men, in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic hitting the city. This exhibition marks George House Trust's 40th anniversary.
